‘What urban planning can do to better adapt housing conditions'
It is worth noting the importance of housing within the framework of the PDU, understood as the backbone of residence. It becomes necessary to consider the projections of the future population as regards its evolution and distribution in the territory and, therefore, the housing needs derived from the demographic reality in each one of the territorial areas. It is a case of adapting the population's future accommodation conditions from an urban planning perspective, in order to reduce problems related to segregation, an insufficient offer or unsuitable accommodation.
